An excellent small hotel in a rather grand Victorian house on the main road in Callendar. Easy walk into town. Great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Stunning scenery. Recommend going to Lock Katrine, it is beautiful. Loch Lomond was best on its east side, the west side is nearest Glasgow and attracts a lot of people in the summer. Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast.

Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.

I had a lovely experience staying at the Luib Hotel, Nelly and James were fab hosts also down to earth no nonsense folk. Home cooked food was delicious, I had evening meals and Breakfasts. The hotel is on a busy main road however this didn't spoil my stay. My room which looked on to the road was well soundproofed , I had a wee well earned nap in the afternoon without being disturbed. Room was great , enjoyed the shower as stayed in other hotels in callander and they were either frozen or no power. Had dinner in bar the food was cooked from scratch and very tasty. Staff are friendly.

From the moment we stepped inside the door, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the décor is modern and cosy, and the staff are lovely. Our host, John was friendly and welcoming, with great local knowledge, and served up excellent cooked breakfasts. Inverardran was an excellent base for a short break in the west central Highlands, with good road connections to many areas of interest. I would have no hesitiation in recommending this guest house, and would be pleased to return.

Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. Fabulous stay just for one night - lovely Hotel made very welcome when I arrived. Very well maintained and very comfortable and spacious room. Great location for the railway station. One of the best Hotel’s I have stayed in - and dog friendly. Will certainly return nothing not to like.

Was curious about Andy Murray's investment in a country hotel. But as I drove up the private road you could see why. It's a lovely secluded residence. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces.
