"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

"A great base to take trips out from. The house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed to prepare home cooked food for our family. We all settled in very easily with very clear instructions from the owner. The town is very quaint with lots of walks locally and a bit further afield. We adventured to fossil filled beaches, mountain walkways, limestone caves, Neolithic tombs, fairy filled forests and Supervalu supermarket. We had a wonderful time and may well...

"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"Patrick is a fantastic host. he was so accommodating. He even facilitated our early check-in as well. Clear instructions were provided to the home, use of utilities, the management of the bins and everything else. The house was in a mint condition. Netflix, Toys, cable TV were all available for kids' entertainment as well. Wifi with good quality available. The house is much better in reality compared to the images on the website. "From the time we booked through our entire stay we were taken care of by Liz who made our stay awesome. The house was great in the rural setting we were looking for with a restaurant/pub just down the driveway. If we had any questions she responded quickly and helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the historic building. We left after a month and said good bye to a new friend. Blessed!"

"There was a hidden utility fee of 10 Euros per day. Other than that, the house was large with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Dishwasher was missing wheels and racks were bent. Supplies were minimal in kitchen."
