"Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!"

"Started out disappointed as rented the ENTIRE property. This is not the case - you have shared kitchen with CCTV. Finished disappointed as accused of having child and making a racket. They forgot to check when we left and CCTV cameras - we weren’t even there. As for room - when we arrived heating was not going - they promptly got to fix issue. Room was lovely but hair on bed and floor - not ours! Location is very central- so good "

"Very good accommodation for us as a group of friends on our annual get together. Room to sit and chat in the the kitchen and living room, and lovely outdoor area. Beds very comfy. Long mirrors in every bedroom room would be good."

"We were surprised how beautiful and comfortable the house was. The location was convenient for the activities we wished to undertake. The rural setting with animals around was very peaceful. The only difficulty was using We Stay. It took time for answers, and not being able to deal with things easily was a bit annoying. i.e. there was no tea towels but we saw the owner who rectified directly. It really was a lovely, comfortable, luxurious stay and we would recommend."

"when me and my friends got to the apartment we waited outside for 25 minutes trying to get into the apartment and rang two different numbers for someone to help us and all they could say was 'well all you can do is wait for someone to go into the hotel and you follow them in' which is outrageous. when we paid for the hotel through here less than 24 hours notice they messaged me and wanted a £35 WEEKLY cleaning fee when we are only staying there for only one night? "The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably"
