The staff is so great, but I found the hotel has fallen on cleanliness and upkeep. This has always been our favorite place to stay but for the cost per night, will look elsewhere next time. Although we always love the friendly and accommodating staff! No ice on floor Brown water coming from bathtub

This was our first stay at this property was our Christmas 2023 trip to Stillwater. I chose Hampton for a few reasons, most importantly was the standards of Hilton hotels. This property did not disappoint! The room, as well as the halls and common areas were immaculate. The staff were always smiles and very polite and accommodating. The breakfast served was very good and had many options to chose from. We have stayed in many different hotels in Stillwater over the years and this is by far our favorite hotel now. We'll be staying there again next Christmas.

The staff were all excellent, very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Our only complaint is the room smelled very musty. It was just an old, musty smell. It reminded me of a basement or an attic of an old house. In hindsight, we should’ve called down at check-in and asked for a different room. It was bad enough that our clothes smelled that we slept in, the sheets (or maybe top blanket?) just smelled like they had been washed and forgotten about. If we had been there more than one night, I couldn’t have handled it. But again, we didn’t call down about it so they weren’t given a chance to make it right. They were so great and nice that I feel like they would’ve been willing to switch us a room, we just didn’t want to complain.. I would probably consider the hotel again, but I wouldn’t accept that smell again.

Upon arriving to our room, the air conditioner was not working. We notified staff on our way out to dinner. Upon our return to the facility the staff let us know there was not anyone available to fix it so they upgraded us and moved us to a different room. Great visit 👍

Not very pet friendly
We selected this hotel because they advertised pet friendly and we had our doodle with us for the second night only. Doodles are hypoallergenic mind you. At initial check in, the attendant was efficient but not friendly. When we came in night two with our doodle, he was visibly upset that we didn't pay the $50 pet fee, which was not an option at online reservation and if we had seen that fee, we would have stayed elsewhere. He said that the fee covered additional cleaning to make the room ready for people allergic to dogs. I doubt anything extra was done but we agreed to pay the fee regardless. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable but the friendliness wasn't there. We will most likely choose a different hotel on our next trip to Stillwater.

Will Use This Hotel For Stillwater Visits
Very nice stay. Room was spacious with sofa, microwave, sink and fridge. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and in nice condition. Lobby and hallways were clean and nicely decorated and maintained. One of the better points was this hotel had no fragrance enhancers in the room or hallways. The room had absolutely no odors at all which was really nice. We had a small room issue that needed attention and the front desk sent maintenance immediately and the problem was resolved immediately.

Great hotel
The hotel was in a great location, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and had different offerings each day so it didn’t get old. The only drawback for me was that the bed was so very uncomfortable. It was so hard. I would stay here again though.

PROS: Very friendly staff, fast & efficient. Comfortable bedding & clean room. Microwave & mini-fridge in room. Good lighting, & plenty of outlets for charging. Lots of towels & toiletries. Awesome, free breakfast. Good location. CONS: The A/C units are a bit loud. The room is a little dated. The desk chair doesn't raise high enough for comfortable seating if working/writing.

Loiterer sitting right outside front door chain smoking. It’s always bothersome when someone is smoking right by front door. Only other complaint was that the duvet cover was extremely itchy, not soft or comfortable at all. Otherwise, staff was friendly and facility was nice.

Breakfast bar selection was exceptional . Very accommodating for early 5:00 AM shuttle to airport . Since Stillwater had no taxis, we had to use Uber for traveling around town. Friendly & helpful employees 👌😁

The room was very clean and majority of the staff were polite and friendly. The strange man behind the front desk, Ross, who claims to be the owner, was rude and borderline a bully. I will never stay at this hotel ever again due to his absolutely inappropriate behavior towards me.

As per ADA guidelines: we are allowed to ask each guest with a pet two questions: "Is it a service animal" and "what service does it provide". Since you refused to answer the second question and said "just charge me the 50" we did so. Hopefully this clears up any confusion you have with your pet on future travels.
