"Must have been a beautiful hotel in its day but now it’s very tired, no staff, no working lift, or working aircon, lightbulbs blown. Such a shame really because the location is ideal and there’s a cheap carpark around the corner"

"A wonderful old hotel, lots of interesting history . Situated perfectly for everything. Parking can be a problem as Buxton is a very popular place to visit."

"Small but comfortable and clean room. As it is historic and old building atmoaphere was incredible, but it wont have the new big windows in the room etc. But beautiful, comfortable stay"
