"If you are looking at this place, ask for the Harrod room. Kingsize bed and big bathroom with a stand alone roll top bath and separate shower. If you were a romantic couple, you wouldn’t leave this room. Comfortable Bar area and small restaurant with a full menu from Tuesday to Sunday. Pizza night on a Monday. Excellent parking. There is some road noise but it’s Ok. "

"I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was warmly welcomed with a smile, which I truly appreciated. They kindly shared information about local shops and sightseeing spots, which helped ease my worries about being in a new town for the first time. The building is old, but the room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. (Adjusting the bath water temperature was a bit of a challenge.) Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay."

"Impromptu night away and we certainly made a great choice. The room was amazing with a bathtub hidden from the bed are by a low screen. Very comfortable room with a great breakfast. Staff all very friendly "

"Overnight stay in Stamford. We were slightly apprehensive due to some of the reviews but our experience was really good. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely with a huge bed and a deep free standing bath. Breakfast was great…… what’s not to like? We will definitely stay here again👍👍"

"Clean & comfortable room above the pub. Very comfy bed and good bath/shower. Bathroom and loo were outside of our room behind a curtain, which was fine for us, though did feel like anyone could potentially go in as there was direct access from the street up some stairs (unlikely, of course, but felt a bit strange!) Old & atmospheric, but felt could have done with a few touch ups. Thought it was a bit expensive for the money, though appreciate Stamford is pricey. Food in the pub was lovely,...
