"Nice room with patio doors leading to outside decking strip with chairs to enjoy the nice views. Not private as open-plan & people can walk around the outside, also there is a narrow road where a car did come around to the exit.
Room did have a table top fan thank goodness as it was very hot with the sun on the room from early morning.
Hair dryer didn’t have enough power, would have been hours trying to dry my hair- too hot anyway to have going for long. Shower pressure low, I doubt they can do anything about that given where the property is situated.
Restaurant staff very good, SAM in particular. We were initially going to dine in the bar but there was plenty of room in the restaurant so we were offered to sit in there & have the fish & chips off the bar menu.
We were disappointed in the fish - had thick batter & very little fish, my husband mentioned it to a member of staff. Within minutes SAM came & apologised profusely advising us she would get another meal straight away. We opted for the steak pie instead which the person on the next table looked to be enjoying. It was very good, SAM couldn’t apologise enough. We went to our room & a knock on the door was SAM with a bottle of red wine (the same as we had had a glass of with our meal )& 2 glasses - excellent customer service.
Lady on reception was very pleasant both on arrival & at check-out.
A comfortable bed & a pleasant stay."
