"The hotel is located right in front of the beach, within a reasonable walking distance to the Dover Cliffs. The staff were excellent and attentive. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Hotel."

"We had a really lovely stay at the Victoria Hotel. It’s a charming place with plenty of character, and it felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which really made a difference. The location is great — close enough to Canterbury city centre but still nice and peaceful. It made it easy to explore the area without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A great choice if you’re visiting Canterbury and want somewhere comfortable with a friendly atmosphere."

"The hotel is beautifully presented and well kept. The staff are friendly and courteous, and were helpful when we found our room to be too warm in the evening, sending a maintenance staff member to sort out the heating for us. The food was great, particularly the breakfast. Aside from impeccable service, the food was lovely. Locally sourced where possible, fresh, and hot. The coffee was particularly lovely."

"Great location on sea front. Shops and take aways nearby - we arrived after 7 and managed to get some fish and chips. Nice apartment with separate bathrooms. Only issue was there's a security light outside that goes off randomly and is very bright and penetrates the sides of the curtains. "

"I’m teased a lot for being a hotel snob, but this hotel has changed my views on “cheaper” hotels, stayed here 4 nights and I’m actually a bit sad to be leaving, I have felt welcomed and comfortable here from the moment I arrived to the moment that I am about to check out. "Property was in an excellent location, within the city centre walking distance from the cathedral! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Front of house staff were knowledgeable and professional! "Staff uniformly good and friendly, especially Leo in the breakfast room. Coast restaurant was nice for one night. Spa/gym facilities good - shared with non-resident club members. Disappointed the Moet bar only open over weekend. Not mentioned on website. None of the public rooms available to residents have a sea view which is a disappointment given the hotel's location. DON'T BUILD ON THE REST OF THE GOLF COURSE!"
