"The host was surprised to see us arriving........first time ever happening. room was, of course not ready, no wifi, bathroom in a terrible condition, breakfast was a joke compare to other hotels we have been, I don't even know if it was a real hotel."

"It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay."

This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. "Nice place but not worth the money. The 3 bedroom suite is below the rooftop to which the other guests have access, so they walk through your outdoor area to get up there. You do not get the whole villa, there are two bedrooms that are rented out as well as the suite. The staff are however very friendly and the breakfast was great, and location also very good, right on the beach. The villa needs a fresh coat of paint but is very beautiful, feels Moroccan! If the price was lower I would recommend...
