"Beatiful gem near the Columbo airport, great staff large poolside room. Wifi wasn’t great but for the price, well worty it."

"This property was actually good, we need to compare this with Sri Lankan stands, hot water worked very well, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and planes flying by are perfectly heard also wifi speed poor but staff is very nice and helpful and the complimentary airport shuttle a very nice detail by the crew. There’s a good patio to relax. Room is equipped with AC"

"This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again"

"Did not have central AIrconditioning. Hot in March - can’t imagine how hot it would be in middle of summer. Liked efficient and polite staff members serving us late in the evening. "

"The whole experience of staying at this hotel was excellent, front the comfort of the rooms to the winderful food and the perfect viwing spot to observe the elephants. Highly recommended!"

"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"
