"Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away"

"My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. "A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub."
