"Sorry to report we were very disappointed, great view is the only reason this location gets a second star. We stayed one night, had two rooms in February. The rooms never heated up, we tried to get help with no luck. Was very clean either. Nobody there to check in and no one there to check us out. This location isn't certified to collect city taxes either, we checked as we tried to pay. Plenty of other places just as nice"

"This is a lovely little room, but it was missing a few things. It could use a small shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap, and a place to hang towels to dry. "Very interesting place tucked in. The layout is different and if you do not like stairs, it isn't the place for you. But it does have nice views and is centrally located in town. Definitely not a place for suit cases, unless you leave them on the first floor, as the stairs are very tight.Still a fun place to spend a few nights in Riomaggiore. "

"We stayed in Cinque Terre and wanted a place that wasn't totally quiet (Corniglia) or super busy (Montarosso), so settled on Riomaggiore and glad we booked this place. The walk up the hill is a bit inconvenient, but the friendly service was amazing. Enrico spent time with us when we checked in, going thru where to hike, helping us get the Cinque Terre card, plus there is daily complimentary breakfast 8a-10a which was awesome - I got my yogurt and oats, prosciutto and cheese sandwich (the bread is fantastic), and croissants and other pastries, not to mention the espressos and teas and juices, and fruits! Highly recommend for the breakfast and kindness. You probably won't get the same kind of help, kindness and attention in other areas or other hotels. It made our stay 10/10."

"Beautiful place in Riomaggiore with ocean views from the terrace. Has all amenities needed, but be careful if you don't walk or climb stairs well...there are stairs up to the bedroom and down to the bathroom from the main level (kitchen and living room). Everything was clean and well thought of. Shutters in the bedroom blocked out the light in the morning, but couldn't block out the sound of bells every hour and one bell on the half hour!"

"A lovely place and Rebecca was very friendly and helpful. She kept in contact without being intrusive and obviously cares that her guests have a pleasant stay. 100/10 for the sunset views - it is a true westerly view from the balcony. Be aware that the town elevator close to the property is currently out of order so there was quite a climb to the property. I don't say that to be negative, I stand by the 5 stars overall, just be aware because one reason to book this property was the elevator close by. If you're a light sleeper I also recommend ear plugs as the noise from the railway does carry and the announcements continue throughout the night."
