Beautiful hotel and staff

Have stayed a number of times when visiting the area. Would highly recommend it

Lovely stay here.

Lovely building in beautiful grounds. Comfortable room. The service in the restaurant was friendly and efficient and the dinner was delicious. The buffet breakfast was exceptional - I particularly enjoyed the array of fresh and dried fruit. Lovely big swimming pool.

Lovely place, supposedly where Dick Turpin was arrested in 17th century. Quaint. Lovely rooms,- like converted stables - own door to room from car park. Nicely shaped room, with dressing area and clever use of bathroom/toilet door (one door does both). Had evening drink in garden in evening sun. Food was good, with good choice of food and drink. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean room and good quality food served at the premises

Great location, perfect room, great help, did everything to help us as we went for the tour de yorkshire and the roads were closed at 11am, so they emailed is to come early and we could get a parking space and they let us check in early, thank you for all the help you gave us

The village was quiet and so pretty, the room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable, we were really well looked after and made to feel so welcome, breakfast was amazing every morning and nothing was to much trouble, I would recommend a stay here instead of being in busy York And the chocolate brownies they sell in the coffee shop are something special as well as their own blend of coffee

Our stay was for our wedding anniversary and I am a wheelchair user. The staff were fantastic and the access for me was wonderful. The best access in any hotel,

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

Comfortable room. Excellent food in restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful

Loved the hotel, but as with our 3 sons who had separate rooms we all ended up in different rooms originally allocated because housekeeping had not made up the-rooms.

Lovely inside, lovely host and great breakfast. Didnt like so many lights on outside the room and cushions on the bed as they are not able to be washed at 60 degrees and generally just a waste of space.

A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.
