"The South Point Retreat has been meticulously renovated and decorated with special touches. It is cozy and comfortable. Nice quality towels, soaps and shampoo/conditioner provided in both bathrooms is a nice touch. The beds are comfortable with quality bedding. We were the first guests to visit so Gerry and his wife graciously greeted us at the home to go over some details. We did learn upon arrival that the gas stove had not yet been hooked up, but an induction burner was provided. Not ideal...

"The property is actually bigger than the pictures suggest with a really large backyard, patio, creek and fire pit. We had our wedding here and comfortably accommodated the wedding party in the house with the ceremony and reception in the backyard. The host was friendly and welcoming. They answered our questions very quickly."

"We really enjoyed our trip at this beautiful property. It was spacious and private and the pool was great! We would stay again but would request more hand, bath and pool towels as there weren't enough for each guest. Also extra pillows and linens for the sofa beds."

"I was a student here years ago so staying here was a bit nostalgic. What people need to realize is that yes, this is a dorm throughout the school year so it’s only going to have the basic necessities, but it’s a comfortable, cost friendly roof over your head. Beds were comfy. If you’re 6 ft tall, you’ll have to duck a bit in the shower. (Not a complaint, just an FYI) Checkin and checkout were easy and the staff were friendly. "

During our stay we enjoyed the BBQ on the patio, the fire pit, and the fully equipped kitchen. Also the location of the house is super convenient to all attractions in the area."
