We had a family trip to see a play. We had been here for dinner and drinks before, and thought we would give the hotel a try. The rooms were large, great amenities clean. The staff we’re friendly and accommodating. We will be back.
Great location within walking distance to most downtown attractions. The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant had a wonderful selection. It was also incredible that they stocked the rooms with local food items to purchase from the minibar.
Perfect location for walking around the town , everything near by.
The rooms were very well equipped and comfortable.
The restaurant downstairs was absolutely amazing.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you for a great experience.

The Mercer hotel is located right downtown. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable too! The restaurant attached to the hotel has a lovely patio with great food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our 1 night stay on the 2nd floor at the Mercer Hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was very clean and the king bed was very comfortable. We heard the occasional noise from the room above us and the muted hum of the air conditioning units on the roof but it wasn't a problem for us. The location was very convenient for walking to all the theatres and for shopping. And the Mercer restaurant food is great!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
An adequate hotel with limited service. The lack of an elevator makes your comings and goings somewhat of an exercise. The staff was friendly but the decor is rather gloomy.
We had a clean, updated room in a great location in Stratford. We walked everywhere for the couple days we stayed there. The staff were all VERY friendly and helpful. Mercer also has a great restaurant as part of the hotel. The hotel is “boutique” type with 14 rooms above the restaurant. The only thing that keeps us from giving it 5 stars is the access to the hotel is quirky and only accessible with stairs. You have to carry your bags through a winding set of stairs and hallways to get to your room. All that said we would definitely stay here again.
The property is conveniently situated with lots of interesting shops and good restaurants close by. If you're looking for a quiet room, ask for one that faces the river. If not available, ear plugs are suggested.
