"Poor noise insulation"

"The staff were great, the food was delicious, and the family suites were comfortable! Would stay again."

"Stayed for one night, booked last minute the day before traveling North from Switzerland, needed somewhere in the black forest with good check-in/out times and somewhere to securely park the bike (car park right by the hotel, plenty of eyes on it and it's quite a secluded location so no concerns!) - great little beer garden, food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great - great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"Perfect place to stay. Helpful owners/staff."

"It’s very comfortable like home. The flat has all kichen stuffs so we cooked n enjoyed own dining. Excellent clean n neat facility "

"A beautiful family hotel! This is super clean and owner really loves her property and pay attention to guest needs. I loved that"

"Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head."

"Really nice location within the forest. The only noise comes from the birds and the wind in the trees. Excellent restaurant and friendly staff. Just loved it."

"Lovely hotel, very relaxing, beautiful outlook."

"One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often."

"Amazing place! Clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, perfect pool, steam room, sauna, and we can’t wait to return."

"Schöne grosse Zimmer, lecker Essen, sehr empfehlenswert. Hmmer Aussicht"

"Es war alles sehr gut, Unser Aufenthalt war zwar kurz, aber wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer sauber und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Auch das Essen im Restaurant zu Abend und das Frühstück absolut lecker. Gerne kommen wir wieder."

"Stayed one night should have booked more!"

"This hotel was fantastic. The room was large and had comfortable beds and large bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice."

"The guy at the reception was sick with a runny nose, absolutely in no condition to handle guests. The restaurant down the street is worth trying, I had the best apple strudel ever! The spa was ok, you have to pay extra for the robe and towels. This place showed up on Expedia as a hotel for Zurich, pay attention, it is an hour drive deep in country side in Germany!"
