We chose this hotel in preference to actually staying in central Perth, it was a great decision. The hotel is well located with shops and restaurants within short walking distance and yet was much quieter and more reasonably priced than a similar hotel in the city. South Perth Foreshore is well served by a punctual ferry service that runs every 15 minutes and takes about 7 minutes to travel across the river yet costs are trivial.

Great staff, great restaurants 5 min walk, ferry to Perth 5 min walk (3aud). Views from riverside view rooms 1&2 floors spectacular. End suites if in group even better. Definitely not luxury, but got everything you could want. Recommend YES.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in the historic garde cottages which have been beautifully & sympathetically restored. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. The speakeasy bar Gimlet with complementary daily drink is a perfect spot for a relaxing pre or post dinner drink.

The hotel facilities, bar, pool & gym areas and all staff were amazing during our stay. Highly recommend.
Special thanks to Ja-Ja in the bar/ restaurant area, a very lovely hospitable lady, a real credit to the Westin.

We arrived at 9pm plus local time when most shops had closed and the weather is very cold outside. The reception has also closed but we managed to call someone using the phone provided. Ming Fong the receptionist from singapore who is also a master student there, is very thoughtful and sincere in helping us with registration. She purposely turned on the heater just for us and walked us to our room. She explained clearly on what are the things we need to know. Thanks for the sincere services....
