The listing was not clear on bathroom layout which was very unique. Some of the light switches did not work, the curtain rods were broken, the blinds did not work properly and there was a piece of plywood that was supporting the couch. The kitchen was lacking in supplies such as a cutting board, cookie sheet for oven and basic spices such as pepper and salt. Lastly, upon check out, the instructions were to load and start dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher soap. At the end of the day, we did not let all of the shortcomings of the VRBO hinder us from having a wonderful time in Tahoe. Out of all of the VRBO's I've rented over the years, this was by far the most disappointing for the cost.

The photos of this property are false advertising. The property is filthy throughout, including all surfaces, furniture, interior of drawers/cabinets, etc. We took our shoes off when initially entering the property, and our feet were black on the bottoms within 5 minutes. The furniture, blinds, bedding and everything is very old, worn out, and dirty. The towel hooks in one of the bathrooms were falling off. Some windows are missing screens, and some windows won't open at all, which made it difficult to stay cool in a non-air-conditioned unit during Summer. Space fans are provided, which are also old, filthy, and some not working properly. We've rented many properties over the years, and this was by far the filthiest and most misleading based on the online information. There was no floor plan provided. The condo is 3 stories. Enter on the first floor: there are 2 bedrooms, one half bath, one bathroom with a toilet/shower, and one sink in the hallway, no privacy. 2nd floor is living room, dining, and kitchen. A spiral staircase leads to an open loft with 2 twin beds, which means, whoever sleeps upstairs needs to walk down 2 flights of stairs to use the restroom. Avari Management was not clear on all of the amenities but provided no help. They should be ashamed of their false advertising and the very poor condition of this property, particularly for the price we paid as a family of 4. I highly recommend avoiding this property, as well as any other Avari props
