The Coachman Hotel

8/10 Good

"There are no phones to call the office so I wish there were instructions (tv, air etc)or a welcome letter with hours, menu those kinds of things. This was our first time staying here so wasn’t sure about anything and had to keep going to bar/reception to ask. There are no coffee pots in the rooms and the reception area doesn’t open until 7am so we had to run to Starbucks every morning at 530. The beach access is nice but again, we weren’t sure where to get the tickets, then where to go to gain access. So much confusion could be eliminated with an info packet in each room. The area is nice and 3 blocks from beach and shops."

"Everything was really good and the property was clean. Only thing that was not was an older Bell Boy gentleman telling me can you bring that back we are short with them “ he looked like a customer not a worker no name badge or dressed properly"

"Clean, nice staff. Good breakfast Only downside was getting out of the parking lot, traffic is quite heavy and steady."

"The drain plugged up and it took a while to fix. We finally told the guy to go ahead and finish the job and we left. It was fixed and everything was fine. Like so so many hotels, the planners do not travel themselves. I suggest two more towel racks and 3 hooks in the bathroom, 2 or 3 shelves in the room too. Our stay was very nice - loved the table on the deck for meals and Parcheesi!"
