"Apologies to the knights rest, but we didn't actually stay there. I booked it on the day for 2 nights through hotels.com. However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. They apoligised and said hotels.com should have checked their diary and not booked any rooms out. They would be putting in a complaint via Expedia. "A lovely rural oasis, quiet and peaceful. The two large fields were heaven for our dog to run around in at her leisure. Philip was very helpful about the property and the milk, tea and coffee on first arrival were very welcome. it's well situated for visits to the coast and the country."

The house has everything that you need from a Nespresso machine to dressing gowns in the bedroom and amazing wood to burn and keep you warm. Not to mention the secret garden!
