"Great stopover venue off the M5 pretty location"
We chose this hotel based on trip advisor feedback as it was an ideal midpoint break on our way to cornwall. On arrival we were instantly charmed by the pretty quiet location as the hotel is nestled at the bottom of a coomb with a stream running through its garden. The staff were welcoming and curtious at all times. The decor is a little mix and match but this give a quaint air. Overall this is a clean comfortable hotel with nice staff in a lovely location, don't expect four/five star inside but do expect to be won over by its charm. 😊

"Welcoming "
Went to Lynmouth for a short break, picked Pine Lodge on line. Arrived to be welcomed with tea and cake after being shown the room. Room spacious and spotless with a comfortable king size bed. Breakfast menu comparable to a 5 star hotel with the best "starter buffet" I have seen. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Ingleside Guest House

"A fantastic B&B in lovely location"
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Ingleside. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, full of advice about the area and have a real attention to detail that makes you feel at home and looked after. The room was beautiful, very comfy and clean, with all the amenities you could want and special touches like books to read and even amusing coasters by the bed! The cooked breakfast is delicious (cooked in the aga) and plenty of toast and cereal is also available. The porridge was perfect (and I'm a porridge addict!) The atmosphere is friendly, very relaxing and many of the guests have been before- which is a great endorsement in itself! The house is at the top of a small hill, so the views are brilliant, even watching the rain clouds roll in is impressive. But in the sun it is even more beautiful and the walks possible from here are stunning. The funicular railway is only a 2 min walk away and takes you up and down to Lynmouth and a wealth of shops and places to eat and drink. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely go back as there were lots more places to visit!

"Mason's Arms Lower Odcombe"
Nice friendly staff and lovely food. However, Wifi didn't work in the room so you had to go to the bar. Lighting in the room and the bathroom was so dim that you couldn't see to read or put makeup on. All the lights seemed to be very low wattage. We could hear the TV in the room next door and then kept being woken up by the same person snoring!! That being said we would stay here again, as these were all relatively small irritations.

"A characterful hotel in a beautiful location"
We stayed here for three nights in early Aug 2016. The first impressions were not so good, as the hotel is in need of a bit of refurbishment. But actually, this place is amazingly relaxing and the hotel staff were very helpful indeed. It's quite an eccentric place, having the connection with the Miller's family and absolutely rammed full of antiques. There are lots of nice little touches, such as free toffees everywhere, lovely comfy lounge to sit in and an honesty bar if the staff are unavailable. The main thing, however, is the location. This is a lovely tucked away cove on the coast of Exmoor and we loved waking up to beautiful sea views every day.
