"We loved staying at the Hotel Birger Jarl. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make our stay comfortable. The room facilities were amazing - we were upgraded and had even more space than the spacious room we had booked. Breakfast was excellent - get there early to avoid the crowds. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. A thoroughly recommended place to stay in Stockholm."

"Good location, not too far from the city centre. Comfy beds although the main pillow was too large and the smaller pillow was too small. We had breakfast one of our mornings and the buffet was fresh and well topped up with good variety of different foods. The mini bar in the room was well stocked although there is no price list so almost took more than we would have wanted to pay for. We arrived very late our first night but the reception desk had two staff members on it which meant our check in was quick and smooth. Overall good stay and would recommend"

"Me and my partner love staying in Vasastan when we’re in Stockholm, so naturally we loved the location. We upgraded our room to one of the newly renovated ones and it was totally worth it. Loved the bathroom tiling and the bed and pillows were soooo comfy. My fiancée even contemplated emailing Elite to ask where the pillows are from so we can buy the same ones for home. Breakfast buffe is really good, pretty standard for Swedish hotels I’d say. Can’t fault them on anything really."

"We stayed for two nights at Downtown Camper. Location is fantastic, next to everything. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, pool and sauna were great, beds comfortable and rooms were quiet, so much to recommend."

"Great for the kids. 2 bed apartment had lots of space. Very clean. Lovely breakfast and bar is all you can ask for with small play spot for the kids."
