Great location for catching the car train to Calais.

Very warm welcome and the comfort was superb. The room was always kept clean. The room was so spacious and in a quite corner which was what I needed after an all day conference. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a country feel hotel.

Easily the best place to stay when I visit this area.

Stayed in the Oak Room for one night - it has lovely views and the garden is beautiful. It is two rooms in the attic plus a private bathroom. There are low oak beams so take bumping you head as part of the charm and some narrow stairs.

Charming pub in a very good location in Tenterden high street - excellent if visiting Chapeldown or the Kent and Sussex Railway. Our room was very spacious and the bed was super comfy. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. and a secure car park is included with the stay. Would highly recommend

Probably the most quirky place I have stayed, ( except Frog Manor in Cheshire which I think is now closed ) fab relaxed atmosphere, great English wines, the staff are very helpful 👍

Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!

We went to the hotel under difficult circumstances and were overwhelmed by the staff at the pub. Friendly, kind and could not help you enough. Fraser the manager has a slick run ship, supported by a wonderful team. Caroline in particular was just outstanding. She is a credit to the company. So much so that we have also booked to stay there New Year's Eve to lap up the atmosphere again. The team at a joy to be around and the staff are people who have that extra thing that you can't train...

A pampering weekend for my wife over the Valentines weekend was an excellent one night stay. My wife was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed and enjoyed her afternoon in the spa immensely. Staff were all very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

Very quite for a services hotel. Free parking, just make sure you give them your number plate. But they ask you anyway. 24hr services next door (apart from Mc'Ds as 12-1am they close). Room was clean, very comfortable beds, good shower, hot water, tea and coffee in the room. Staff where lovely.

Great stay again !! Apart from bar lady didn’t want to be there ! Very slow and couldn’t be bothered to serve me apart from that great again with a free upgrade

Our stay at the Stables Courtyard rooms was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the wonderful staff in all areas of the property. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and our wristbands for free entry to the Castle and grounds. Julie in the restuarant was really lovely - great personality and a high level of customer service. The dinner and breakfast were delicious - lots of choice in the buffet with also...
