We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. We spent a total of 4 nights here and our stay was amazing, the house has easy access to the seafront and the high street which are all in a 5 minute walking distance which makes it a great place to stay for families, but just as a comment it could do with some grass in the garden for dogs. Location is great for getting to family-friendly attractions (e.g. Bewilderwood). Warm, comfy, finished to a high standard, excellent bathrooms. Our son enjoyed the box of Lego. "On our arrival we were greeted by Georgie, Glenn and Willow their dog, we entered the cottage and couldn’t believe how beautiful and clean it was, there was everything you needed for your stay, the bed was very comfortable and we slept so well. The cottage is situated off the road and was so quiet only the birds you could hear, our two dogs had a roam around the garden and said hello to Willow.
