Lovely place. It is an old building which means there are creaky floorboards, meaning we could hear people walking about upstairs in the night, and there is a damp smell unless the window is open, but otherwise loved it. Loved the cat, she was playful and fluffy, loved Hazel the owner, she was super helpful, loved the bedroom layout, very convenient and how easy it was to get to. Only thing I'd suggest for the future would be to have access to a fridge and drinking water. The room downstairs was off the lounge which was used by the owner so we could hear her conversation with somebody else in the evening.Not particularly private therefore. The upstairs rooms would have the same issue since the lounge area is open to the higher floor. We were told to go across the road for breakfast which we had to pay for. So that made the visit expensive. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Hazel was very pleasant asking after our needs, recommended things for us to do including beaches and eateries to visit, and the room was clean and freshly aired.
