"A sweet, quaint cabin in the perfect location to enjoy the idyllic village of Glen Arbor. Walk to amazing restaurants, listen to live music down the street at Glen Arbor Wines, rent kayaks or bikes in the Crystal River District, and be at Sleeping Bear Dunes in 10 minutes or less. The house is a bit dated but perfectly comfortable for a week long stay. It’s kind of nice to go back a few decades in time for a nostalgic lake getaway. Great for two adults and four kids enjoying Uo North Michigan for the first time."

"Amazing location for visiting the dunes. The house was lovely. The only disappointment was with the queen mattresses. They both should have been replaced years ago and instead toppers were placed on top and either they need to be replaced or they just aren’t good enough to hide the fact the mattresses are so bad. If you have a bad back as I do or need a decent mattress to sleep you should consider that when looking at this property. We survived by having the kids take the big beds and sleeping in the bunks because those mattresses are reasonably new and supportive. We didn’t have any other issues worth noting."

"Had a great week at Island View: swimming in Lake Michigan, s’mores in the fire pit, biking to and from Glen Arbor, movies by night in the cozy den. The house has every amenity you could want and the location is perfect. You really feel off the grid in the best way. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!"

"Our family has enjoyed this property in late fall for a long weekend twice in the past and this stay was our first full week in pre-Summer/Summer. While we have vacationed at various spots in the county for nearing 25 years, the 5 of us agreed that this remarkable home stands out above all and it's location is perfect for easily reaching all there is to enjoy in Leelanau County! The home is outfitted both in and out of doors for everything you may need +. We found the 3 full baths to be extremely convenient and hard to find in homes of equal size. A+. The outdoor space is exceptional. We enjoyed watching the sun set from the patio in really comfortable outdoor furniture. We also loved the firepit and the beach access down a short private boardwalk from the patio. The views are breathtaking and truly make the house glow! The host was quickly responsive and gracious with our questions. We highly recommend this property and believe it to be an extraordinary value! We look forward to returning regularly."
