"What a fun stay! The place was exactly as described. Being in the woods and right off of the Heritage Trail was really awesome.It was a bit hard to find in the dark, since there are a few other stays in the immediate area, and getting our truck into the tight turn to park was a challenge, but nothing that diminished our time there at all. Just something to be aware of.Since it got a bit chilly at night, the heating unit had a hard time keeping up. It was toasty in the upper-level seating area but chilly on the main level. We tried to turn up the heat and aim the fan to blow the hot air down, but it could only do so much. Again, nothing that ruined the stay, but be sure to bring warm pajamas.We were here for the Sleeping Bear Marathon, so our legs were far too tired to get to the Dune Climb… meaning we’ll be back to stay at the Caboose again! Thanks for a great time!"

"If you like being close to town, this is a sweet little rental. Surprisingly quiet. My only suggestion is to plant some trees to make the back deck more private."
Dune Path - with Waterfront!

"The Dune Path home in Empire MI was beautiful, fully stocked with Linens, dishes, paper towels, TP, Kleenex, Plastic wrap, foil, Plastic bags, Spices, Ice maker on refrigerator, Maps of the town, Toys for kids and adults, extra blankets and Beach towels. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Huge shower and soaking tub (grand kids loved it), Private Beach was great and extra nice with Kayaks, canoe, shuffle board and provided life jackets. The lake is very shallow which made it very nice for the littles to play in safely and very enjoyable walks for the adults. The area is absolutely gorgeous. The house backs right up to Sleeping Bear National Park and is in the middle of a forested area. At night it's so relaxing. And finding all the hidden Petoskey stones in the house was fun for everyone. We're already planning to return for our family gathering for next year."
