"Overall this was a good stay, helped by the very helpful and friendly staff and the large, quite comfortable room. Oh, and the evening meal was v. nice on both evenings (if a little pricey) However .... my room (number 6) had a window that just would not close properly, which was concerning and a bit chilly. Also, the TV reception was virtually non-existant. I did ask, but was given some explanation about work being underway to do something to something on the roof."

"A fab, dog friendly night away! The rooms were imacculate and the staff were super friendly!"

"Nice hotel, reception area, restaurant and health club all good, rooms need a bit of updating though. Pool nice although mainly used for children’s swimming classes. Sauna and steam rooms good, long waiting time between when the jacuzzi automatically switches on. Restaurant meals excellent, breakfast not so great. Arrived an hour early and room was ready but could only go to it at that time if we were prepared to pay a £10 early check in fee! Which I felt wasn’t good customer relations, still did have an ok two night stay"

"The aircon was a godsend in this hot weather. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, good bathroom and good shower. The pub next door has a large garden with food at reasonable prices. There are EV chargers in the car park too. Easy access to Ebbsfleet international station for trains to London and Kent coast. The A2 is minutes away for access to M25, M29, Canterbury, Dover and London. Stayed here many times and have more stays planned"

"Fantastic hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. The big attraction is the spa and pool which is a good size and no need or book a time to use. We stayed in a delux room which was very clean and comfortable. Shower could have been replaced with a more modern rainfall as not intuitive to use. The restaurant has a limited menu and the service was a little slow but the quality of the food was very good and the breakfast was excellent . There are many local pubs to choose from as an alternative for dinner. The hotel is used for weddings and special occasions so can be a little noisy at night. Occasions. The outside pool is small but appropriate for the location. Note not all rooms have a/c so recommend check before you book if important. This is a lovely country hotel with a great indoor pool, would recommend for a short stay. We have rated 5 stars."

"Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are lovely, beds amazingly comfortable and huge! Staff were fantastic, Alexandra and Jack were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast Benedict was delicious and the hotel and dining room very tasteful. Even the music played was good. I cannot fault this place and will most definitely recommend it to anyone going to Canterbury. Really, really excellent."
