"Hotel is quite dated but not enough not to stay again. Staff and food all excellent."

"Breakfast was fine, not too many options and certain items ran out of quantity which they did finally provide again but after a wait. There was ample off side parking, with small fee or free."

"What we liked: Superior sea view room, with breathtaking scenery. Really lovely woodland paths around the hotel to get lost in, and only a 15 minute walk from Grange Over Sands. Bed was very comfy and staff were very friendly and helpful. What could be better: Cleanliness of the bathroom. Clearly marked vegan options or more readily available vegan options on the dinner and bar menus - it was a bit tricky working out what we could eat!"

"Very nice hotel, all the staff we dealt with were very polite and friendly. The cooked breakfast was cooked fresh, we had one evening meal which was very nice. The only downside was that the Spa was being renovated, I would definitely use this hotel again."

"The hotel itself is very dated that is also as its an old building and the character of the building is from 18th century. The room was okay and can be improved. The staff looked agitated and not very friendly. The restaurant menue is overly priced and very limited. No service except within limited lunch and dinner time with pre booking."

"It’s alright for the price. Beautiful old main building but the rooms in the external properties (which it wasn’t clear we’d booked) were very basic, almost youth hostel style. The thermal journey in the spa was a bit of a let down. Quite a small area and very busy. The price said it included slippers but it didn’t and it felt a little like a living Petri dish. The location is great though. Worth crossing over the railway to get to the track near the beach for a walk/run. We did that twice in a one night stay it was that lovely! "

"Our room was very clean and spacious, housekeeping only came in when requested. Staff were friendly but the restaurant staff were not particularly friendly. Cooked breakfast was very good but the continental breakfast could be better for example the fruit salad was very green and would have been better if there had been some yogurt on the table. The bar was not staffed all the time so we had to find someone to get a drink on a couple of occasions. Lindeth Howe is an excellent hotel in a beautiful quiet location. We have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends."

"The staff were excellent, so friendly and it is an excellent place to bring your dog with you. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will definitely return. "
