We had the best getaway! Easy to walk to the town, right across the street from the beach, clean, plenty of room for two adults and two kids. We will be back!!

Perfect Location

This unit was in the perfect location. A little less than a mile from the village which we walked every day. Close to free ride services as well! The best was that is was right across from the beach and the unit had beach towels, 2 chairs and a cooler. The towels were a bit scratchy which was no good for the sunburn we got early into the trip - but they did the job! The unit was really everything we needed for a whole week. I would recommend they add a small garbage to the bathroom and a body mirror, possibly on the closet door. We also had a property manager try to enter in our unit while we were there saying he was told it was vacant but luckily we had it deadbolted so he couldn’t just walk in. He was very friendly about it all though. Highly recommend this property!

Quick but very relaxing Trip

Great location, very functional place. Could use a small outdoor are to sit, a 2nd mirror, and bathroom fan. Management was mostly responsive, except with one issue which involved a malfunctioning smoke detector. That one seemed important... Overall, I'd stay again!

Overall...great

The location was top notch and we couldn't have asked for a more convenient place...close to the beach and an enjoyable walk to dining. The condo was clean and perfect size for our couples getaway. The kitchenette was cute and modern. The A/C had trouble keeping the room cool at night, even after turning it to the coolest setting. It wasn't so terrible that we needed to contact the management, but maybe something management can look at for future guests. The only other minor suggestions would be to consider the length of the stay and accommodate the necessities (more than one roll of TP and more than one kitchen trash bag for longer stays). Otherwise, we enjoyed the property and appreciated the onsite parking.

Cute little place

The description "Elegant Studio Retreat" isn't quite right, elegant is not the right descriptor, but it's a cute, clean little place. The outside seemed worn/widows were dirty, but clean inside. Sleeps 4 with a murphy bed, but that'd be tight, better for 2. It was quiet when I was there, and I'm not sure how parking would work if all units were full. Great location across from the beach. I did hate the ad screen in the room (Welcomes you to the unit, but also randomly came on at 7 am on checkout day and woke me up). There's a comfy sofa, but it's a bit stained and maybe not entirely clean. Bed was comfortable. I wish there were staples in the kitchen (salt/pepper/spices, etc). The property manager office was kind and communicative.

The management was very professional and the keyless access was great. The drawback was that there is no dishwasher or a pan for washing dishes; hence, a hindrance for travelers who don't eat out for most meals. There was no place to sit outside to enjoy the property and the parking was tight during the week with contractors working on the property next door. The washer and dryer are outside in an unlighted area which makes it difficult to use after sunset.

Great location but overpriced relative to what you get at the property.

Loved the location however the owner must not have stayed at the property before, or perhaps hasn't stayed there recently. Otherwise the missing creature comforts might have been noticed such as: 1. Missing Towel/ clothing racks in the bathroom (a small bathroon needs this) 2. Kitchen utensils missing or broken (can opener broken) 3. The cookware was very dirty when we checked in and needed a thoroughly cleaning before use. 4. No cleaning supplies 5. No place for luggage 6. Could use another night stand and/or dresser 7. Bedside USB charging station didn't work 8. Couch and furniture was VERY worn.

RED TIDE DISASTER AND RIP OFF

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. Especially since VRBO suggested I purchase "travel protection" insurance which turned out to be a complete rip off! Although I kept communicating my concerns and eventually filed a claim due to the Red Tide at this location my claim was denied. I will never book another VRBO again. Will trust my vacations to hotels which at least have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I tried to cancel this trip to Siesta Key 25 days in advance due to the severity of the Red Tide.

Capri Review Siesta Key

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As with most vacations you have to take the good with the bad. Having said that, here is my review of the Capri at Siesta Key. The place is as described but these are some things you should consider before renting here. These are the items that were provided. A Basket full of the following (New)items: 1 Roll of Paper towels 1 Bag of Coffee (makes 50 cups),creamer, sugar, sweetener 1 bottle of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner 3 bags of popcorn 1 packet of hand wipes 1 small bottle of dish soap and a sponge 1 bottle (pump style) hand soap Things not provided and you will need to purchase or bring yourself: Toilet paper (only 1 roll provided for the week) Wash Clothes (none were provided) Hand Towels (none were provided) However there was 3 Bath Towels available Laundry soap (to wash said towels) I thought the Basket of stuff made up for the things we purchased. Now here is the Good and the Bad: The Good: Great Location to the beach and restaurants and stores Provided a Cooler, two beach chairs, two beach towels, ironing board and iron, broom and dust pan, washer and dryer (shared with 3 other units and outside)(covered) The Bad: Air conditioner is loud when trying to sleep. Bed was uncomfortable for us. (very Firm) No bathroom vent. (we purchased a fan to help) Bathroom blinds do not cover the window completely (if that bothers you) Parking is difficult. you are given a "map" of how the parking is suppose to work, but it is very tight and only works if the other renters park the way it is intended. If they don't good luck. Your either stuck and can't get out or you are forced to block someone else.

Great location- across from the beach

This is not on the beach. It’s across from the beach behind a building. So it’s not ocean front. It’s small but met our needs. The only issue was that the unit holds a lot of moisture in it and it felt like all the sheets and blankets etc were wet when it was raining. Also, there is no bathroom fan to get the moisture out. Black mold growing on the window in the bathroom. Also, the gravel you park on gets tracked in easily into the unit so take your shoes off before going in. Lastly, a comment to the owner - there needs to be towel hooks for beach towels and bath towels to be hung. It would be good to install about 6 of them for convenience of the renters. Comfy bed and Murphy bed. Location was in the heart of everything.

The house was in a great location! Walking distance to the Village and beach. It was not very clean. Dirty floors and toilet. It did have everything we needed. Would have appreciated more wash rags. We had plenty of towels.

Love Siesta Key

The property was great.- So convenient to the beach and village. There was a definite communication delay in responding to our extended check out time. We felt that someone should be available on the weekend in the office. We paid for the extra time before check out. The cleaning crew opened our door and reminded us that checkout was at 10. I showed her your text of approval of noon, although we did not receive it until a couple hours before. I talked to my credit card company to see if you had accepted our payment the night before. That was a bit frustrating. Then she sat in the van right outside our door. We left early! It made our last couple hours uncomfortable so we did not stay. I would suggest that someone be available to communicate. It was not a 911 circumstance but it would have helped to have a person to talk to. You are a resort... Just a suggestion. We did enjoy our stay and the accommodations were perfect for our granddaughter/gram weekend. Thanks!
