They then wantede to buy a locker to keep my laptop at my own expense. I think this should have been comped because it was their mistake. Booked tuk tips to see the temples through the hostel which all went very smoothly! Food expensive so we didn’t eat there. Our room wasn’t as nice as the pictures/description suggested, and initially they tried to put us in a much cheaper twin room despite us paying for a king double - when we pointed this out they pushed the beds together, and offered us the same room. Then we looked out the window and we get no view despite our more expensive room specifically having a ‘city view’. Eventually they confessed and asked if we wouldn’t mind changing rooms the next day - they didn’t offer a discount for that night or anything - because they had overbooked. We refused and they found us a room from somewhere...
