I visited during low season, did not see another guest, felt like only guest in hotel. Limited amenaties, no television, limited restaurants, shops around hotel area. Hotel is beautiful old wood lobby, friendly helpful staff, 30 minute walk to Siam Reap town, many tuk tuk available, I came for Anghor Wot, so hotel was fine

Everything was perfect, they took care of us like Royalty, we were a group of 20, and attend to every request we have. The hotel is gorgeous, the swimming pool was a treat on their own. Breakfast was included an had a khmer food selection, and a American spread selection, the two ladies on the front desk spoke perfect English and were the nicest person. Great breakfast: Breakfast was good. Excellent room comfort & quality: Food was great, very clean and nice room. 1.    Spent three lovely days at the Royal Empire Hotel Siem Reap. An excellent hotel very well located. The rooms and hotel amenities were exceptional. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend it to anyone location for accommodations in Siem Reap.   2.    It was an incredibly happy and comfortable stay from start to finish. It was an experience that made me want to stay here again next time I visit. The quality of service was high, and I received warm hospitality everywhere, allowing me to relax without worry. For breakfast, I could choose what I wanted for the hot meals. Fruits, salads, smoothies, and bread were available in a live kitchen buffet format, and I was able to select what I wanted while discussing it with the staff. It was a rare experience. For dinner, I enjoyed excellent dishes from both Cambodian and Western cuisines, whether in courses or à la carte, all making use of local ingredients. There was even a happy hour, and I enjoyed a leisurely dinner along with a cultural experience, During afternoon tea, I was able to enjoy light snacks and sweets that matched the season and theme, and I was surprised to see even people in their finishing everything.

I had a great time at this hotel. The outdoor pool area is beautiful and clean. The rooms are comfortable with great balcony views of the courtyard, and the breakfast buffet offered a delicious foods including good service. The hotel location is great and all the staff are very friendly. I struggled a bit because I came during the summer rainy season, which was hot and humid with occasional rain. I'm also disappointed that I couldn't see the sunrise. I want to come back in winter. If I come back to Siem Reap, I would like to stay at the Royal Empire Hotel again.

The rooms were spacious the hallways wide and open. The restaurant where breakfast was served was not clean by any description . The hotel suffered from repeated power outages and wifi was questionable at times. The hotel had a very strange policy that a guest in your room for more than 5 minutes would result in an additional daily charge and no food or drink could be brought onto the property. I believe this property has an Expedia 4.2 rating I find that hard to believe.

This place was very lush and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was pretty descent- get an omelette from the omelette station, delicious! The pool made for a relaxing soak after a long day exploring Angkor Wat. This hotel is a 15 min tuk tuk ride from downtown Siem Reap, so we also visited the peaceful riverfront area- lots of good cafes there! We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and it was delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
