This was our WORST hotel experience ever. The property was dirty, with a strong metallic smell in water and broken furniture and squeaky doors, looked nothing like the photos!
To top it off, we had a phone and a large sum of money stolen from our locked room while we were out during the day. We tracked the phone using the "find my device" app and found that the location of the stolen device matched the staff room, leaving no doubts that the money and phone were stolen by the people who worked at the hotel. We called the police and they said that they had multiple similar complaints about this hotel but they couldn't do anything in the short time that we had left in siem reap.
I urge you to avoid staying at this hotel and in case you have no other choice, make sure not to leave anything valuable in the room!!

AVOID STAYING HERE!! I got stolen all my cash from my room, where only me and my partner were staying and was locked at all times. Staff won’t take responsibility, even though they are the only ones with access to the rooms when locked. Worst experience so far regarding accomodation.
Frühstück war einfach aber gut.
Es hat gestunken nach Schimmel o.Ä.. Alles war klamm. Bad eklig. Als ich mich über den Geruch beschwert habe, wurde mir zuerst Raumspray angeboten (was den Schimmel oder so ja nicht beseitigt hätte) und dann ein anderes Zimmer, in dem es aber genauso roch. Dennoch hilfsbereit.
The staff werr great BUT
FOR TWO NIGHT'S MY WINDOW WAS OPEN. IT HAS THE WOODEN FRAME TO BLOCK ANYTHING FROM PASSING.
FIRST NIGHT I SAW MY CURTAIN TAKEN THROUGH.SECOND NIGHT SOMEONE TRIED STEALING MY BAG. ITS 12AM AND I WILL NOT SLEEP. SCARED OF LEAVING INCASE SOMEOJENIS WATCHING. NO HOTEL STAFF AROUND
Riktigt sunkigt.
A true rathole. No hot water, wifi always interrupted or slowed down, one night even the electricity didn't work and last , but not least: no toilette paper. The breakfast consists of eggs and that's it. The owner of this place clearly don't care at all. Travellers are considered to be disturbing and the only reason they leave them sleep in this filthy, dirty place is because they make money with it. I don't expect anything fancy for 7$ a night, but a minimum standard which doesn't put you off immediately would have been highly appreciated. Only advice: don't stay there. It's truly horrible.
I enjoyed and loved my stay in this hostel during my travelling in Siem Reap. The atmosphere was great for relaxing with free coffee and tea 24 hours at the restaurant in front of the hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful, they kept and cared for me like their family. The Angkor Wat tours and bus tickets arranged from the hostel were wonderful and cheap price. Really great location, so closed to markets, banks, restaurants and Pub Street. I will recommend this place to my family, friends and travelers in the world.
I stayed at this hostel for two nights. Really great place to stay for visiting Angkor Wat and other temples. The hostel is in a great location, just a short walk from Central Market, Night Market, restaurants and Pub Street area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is so kind, polite, friendly and helpful, they help to arrange a bus ticket to Bangkok, Angkor Wat Tours and Floating Village with reasonable price. The hostel also provide free bus or airport pickup, free breakfast, coffee, tea and Wifi. Very great value for the money. Strongly recommend this hostel to all budget travelers.

Nice hotel
Nice stay but need some maintainces on the room and bath room overall is good
I arrived in this place in the raining season as low season as well. I get a very cheap price. But I want to say, the service is super excellent. All the people are polite, kind, helpful and friendly. You can get almost everything you want. Free good breakfast, free pickup service, nice sleep, clean room, great location. I loved this place. If I return to Siem Reap again, I will choose this hostel again. And I will recommend to my friends and travellers.
I loved this place so much during travelling around Southeast Asia. I send an email ahead for a free pick-up from the airport, They helped arrange on for me, the front desk staff arranged an English Speaking tour guide with tuk-tuk for the Temples of Angkor Wat, was very cheap price. My room was large, clean, and air conditioning worked well with free wifi. Free Safe deposit box at the reception 24 hours, free coffee, tea and breakfast were wonderful. Great location for walking distance to Night Market, bars and restaurants. The hostel is a great value for the money. Strongly recommended!!
This place provided me with such a warm welcoming to Siem Reap, all of the staff are extremely helpful and informative, excellent service, and really reasonable prices. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hostel is centrally located, within a very short walk to the night market, old market, pub street, super markets, banks etc. however, it remains peaceful and quite during the night and in mornings. This hostel, for me, was the perfect place. The owner is a young Khmer lady and she has an amazing story to tell, this is a locally owned family run buisness. The experience was so authentic and pleasant. Every guest I spoke with was also very pleased with their stay here. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.
The staff was very nice and location was great. but the bed was filled with BEDBUGS... we woke up with all the itching in the middle of the night and we analyzed the mattress and found lots of bedbugs... so I wouldn’t recommend this place until they fix this problem...

quiet Hotel
It was a nice little hotel rooms at everything that I need it had nice beds that was clean shower toilet have a safe for use on request it's not far from Pub Street. 15 minute walk you can catch the truck truck for about a dollar the pub Street or the Night Market I said it's a very nice hotel people are friendly and very accommodating have a good say
This guesthouse is an excellent place for its ambience, very friendly and helpful staff and for its cleanliness. It's located near Central Market, Old Market, Night Market, Pub Street and, making it a convenient option for shopping, eating and easy to night party at Funky Flashpackers. They have free Wifi 24hours, breakfast, tea and coffee 24 hours, also free 24 hours safety box at the reception, so we can have peace of mind regarding your valuables. The rooms are large and cozy enough. The staff make you feel at home with their ever friendly and warm smiles. They arrange your tuk tuk travels as well and our tuk tuk driver was a very patient, sweet person, and cheap price. Overall our stay here was perfect. We would definitely go back again and recommend to travelers.
We stayed at this place for three nights during our trip in Southeast Asia. The location is great, short walk to the center of town and places to eat and drink. The rooms are simple, but very clean and have air con and a fan. The staffs were very friendly, polite and helpful. When considering this place you have to remember that it is only US$6 per night, I have no problems giving 5 stars based on what I get for the money. Breakfast, tea and coffeed were included, and there are free bananas to help yourself to all day. We also had a pick up at the airport included in out rate. The guy was there, nice and visible and it was a great way to start the holiday riding in a tuk tuk into town. We loved here, and Thank for all. Highly recommend.
Camera and cables were stolen from my locked room by the hotel staff. All of the items were on my bedside table. The tourist police said this is the third similar complaint about this lodge in the last 6 weeks. All of the rooms were locked and things were stolen while guests were out. There is no daily housekeeping, so there is no need for them to enter at all.
They also have bed bugs if the theft doesn't concern you.
Over all the trip was great but is was nothing to do with the hotel. Didn’t get collected from hotel at the airport as requested and paid for. On arrival room not ready. Room dark and smelly. On departure pick up not organise on time and issue with payment even it should be paid for. Not going to return to same facility.
Hotelli tubades varastatakse ja võimalik et vargused on toime pandud hotelli töötajate poolt. Väga must ja räpane hotell ning teenindus on täiesti null.

The Palm Garden Lodge was just fine! My partner and I stayed four nights in February 2018. It wasn't quite like the pictures but the room was huge. The staff were friendly and the common seating area was nice to have. The breakfast was good considering it was free. You get a choice of two eggs scrambled, fried, or omelette style with two pieces of white toast. Our bathroom didn't have walls that went all the way to the ceiling in our room so If privacy from your room mate is very important to you, you might not like that.
For the pice we paid, we didn't expect too much. However, what we saw after we entered the room was beyond belief. Filth everywhere! The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The toilet and sink being the areas of main concern. The bedroom wall was covered with unidentifiable stains. The curtains were very dirty. Big pockets of dirt in corners if the room. The services and amenities advertised were not provided. For example, no daily housekeeping, minibar, free bottles of water, bathrobes or slippers. Concierge services??? Only one member of staff had a very basic English comprehension. Even 'so called' manager did not speak any English. It made it difficult to organise any sort of tours or bike rentals that the reception advertise. When we tried to enquire, we were told to find them 'in the street'. Same rule applied to the laundry. Basically the most common answer you got was 'I don't know'. In eleven years travelling in Asia, this was by far the worst place we stayed in and I don't think it's good enough to be advertised on hotels.com. Unfortunately, due to our travel arrangements, we did not have the flexibility to change for an alternative accommodation.
