Very friendly efficient staff with helpful hints regarding local tourism. Beautiful gardens with lovely plants and a large swimming pool. Breakfast was included with a choice of local foods as well as full american. We were served a beautifully presented delicious gourmet style dinner by the head chef - a very pleasant gentleman. Upon checking in I was told there is no such thing as a "four bedroom family villa" and, after waiting close to two hours to be given the room, though we arrived at 10 pm, we were given two bedrooms with two twin beds each. There was no way to make them understand that it not what we reserved and paid for, well in advance. We were very rudely told that it was an Expedia problem and that the hotel could and would not do anything to alleviate the problem. We were forced to book another room to accommodate two adults --as there was no way to stay in a room with two twin beds. The on,u thing they offered was a foldaway cot that wouldn't be comfortable or appropriate for a kid in kindergarten. Then Expedia sent a message saying the hotel refuses to compensate or refund us and that they can't do anything as it was the fault of the hotel.
