Rodostamo Hotel & Spa - Adults friendly

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment we walked into this hotel, everything was perfect. The reception staff were always very helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and very easy to get around whether you're using the local bus to get into Corfu town or hiring a car which I would highly recommend as Stelios from the hotel was fantastic and could not have done more. From the moment you woke up the cleaning staff were so polite and helpful and then you walk into breakfast again with a sunny good morning ( always very amazed that he could remember everybody’s hotel room number!) from someone who was always there to help. An American style breakfast buffet, which was fab. The pool area was very clean and again had some wonderful views and was always easy to get a sunbed. The bar area around the pool was exceptional. The manager of the bar was impeccable as was his staff.. We ate out several times in local restaurants and also went to the White House which we would thoroughly recommend. However, if eating in the hotel that in itself was very good and again the service impeccable. So to summit up, I could not fault this hotel at all and would love to return one day."

Sidari Beach Hotel

"We decided to take a different approach this year and booked our flights and accommodation separately. We noticed the Sidari Beach hotel had excellent reviews but were slightly concerned it was only a 3 * hotel. However we could not have picked a better hotel for what we wanted. The hotel is about 12-15 mins walk from the main sidari strip but is out of earshot of all the late night music. We upgraded our room to a Seaview at a reasonable cost and that did not disappoint either. Incredible views right at the beachfront. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was immaculately clean. The pool was lovely and not busy at all. It was a breath of fresh air not to need to put a towel down to reserve.sunbeds. breakfast was basic but more than enough choice. Restaurant next door if u didn't want to walk to the strip. Would definitely go back and highly recommend"

The Royal Hotel

"The hotel has some positives, including a nice outdoor area with a pool and a convenient location with nice cafe bars near by walking distance. However, our overall experience was disappointing. One thing to be aware of is the noise. The hotel is very close to the airport, and planes were constantly taking off and landing directly in front of the pool area, making it difficult to relax. More concerning was the cleanliness. Several areas of the hotel felt dirty and poorly maintained. There was a strong septic or sewage-like odor throughout parts of the property, especially in the elevator, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. Our room also did not feel as clean as expected. The coffee and tea station in the room was particularly disappointing. The area appeared dirty, and the exposed tea bags gave the impression that items were not being properly replaced between guests. Also the bathroom was outdated making it difficult to use due to appliances poor condition. Unfortunately, while the location and pool were nice, the issues with noise, cleanliness, and odors made this stay fall short of expectations. Would not recommend."

Ella Alkyna – Adults Only

"The views at Ella Alkyna are breathtaking, and the water is the clearest I have ever seen. The beach and boardwalk connecting the resort to town create an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty here is truly world-class and the main reason I would recommend visiting. That said, there are several areas that need improvement. Although the resort is all-inclusive, we were only able to make two restaurant reservations during our five-night stay. Otherwise, we were limited to the main buffet, which was fine but became repetitive. I would recommend trying some of the nearby restaurants along the beach for more variety. Housekeeping was disappointing. Trash, dirty dishes, and housekeeping carts were often left in the hallways overnight or for multiple days. We also requested laundry service and received little communication until shortly before checkout, only to find out our clothes had not been cleaned. The resort also arranged a boat excursion and transportation. When we returned around 1:30 PM, transportation refused to take us back immediately because they wanted to wait for more guests, resulting in a three-hour wait. Service was inconsistent. At one meal, a staff member dropped dishes near our table, leaving broken glass and coffee at my feet. No apology was offered, and after moving tables we were not served again during the meal. Overall, the beauty of Ella Alkyna cannot be matched, but improvements in housekeeping, communication, and guest service are needed."
