"A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access."

A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area."

"Lovely bungalow and a credit to Barbara. Spotless and located in Amble about 10 minutes from the harbour area. Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. Would highly recommend and would happily book again if we returned to the area. 👍"

"Warm comfortable house. Everything one needs for a short stay. As we had been before we knew to take a mat for the shower as it is over a bath. The online details are a bit lacking . Last year I had to contact the owner to check if there was a separate shower . The house is so convenient for Amble harbour. We hope to return."

"From the pictures and online description, this property would seem to be very appealing. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. On arrival, we were greeted with a view of a building site – complete with a workmens’ portacabin placed in the shared drive / entrance space. It transpires that the property (also owned by the owner of this one) in the same courtyard is undergoing extensive renovations. A real eyesore, and something that should have been mentioned in the online particulars. The...

The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. The village is great and has pubs, bars and cafes a short walk away, we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. Would recommend"
