"The location and view of The Bund was fantastic! Family Room was not as large as we had thought based upon photos. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Laundry facility is very handy however just 2 x washers and 2 x dryer we did have to wait for others. The staff assisted us as we had to use dryer overnight. Was greatly appreciated."

"Was apprehensive when I read reviews about the hotel cleanliness. That was all dispelled when I was checked in. Lobby was grand and check in was quick. My room on the 9th floor was new and modern. Room was spacious and the king size bed was big. Review mentioned the water pressure was weak but when I used it, it was strong and adequate. See video. Aircon was cold, room had full length mirror and hair dryer which ticked all my boxes. Only complain is the mini bar fridge was not cold at all. Wifi could also be better but that could be due to China’s firewall. Else hotel room was great. The location of the hotel is also fantastic. It’s next to the Nanjing Pedestrian Road which is so convenient to walk slowly down to the bund with many shopping malls and shops/eateries along the way. Michelin guided Lai Lai dumpling with its delicious crab roe is just across. Hotel pick up and drop off for Didi is also super convenient. At check out, the hotel kindly acceded to my request for an hour later check out too. Absolutely top class service."

"I never write hotel reviews but this one was special to me. It was my birthday coming up and they arranged to have a cake delivered to my room! It was a small cake, so please don't give your expectations up reading this review, but it was a perfect size for me. I was just so touched that they would go above and beyond for me, especially when it was not my birthday until after my stay. This service alone is worth 10 stars."

"My family and I loved our stay at the Crystal Hotel!! It was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Hands down, 10/10! The employee who helped us at check-in was excellent and professional. He upgraded both of our rooms and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. He even pre-arranged transportation to the airport, which helped us out a lot. The driver arrived on time and was very professional from pick-up to drop-off. Beverages were provided at check-in, and a complimentary self-service espresso machine and refreshment area were also available. The hotel felt secure and safe, requiring a hotel key to access the elevators and select your specific floor. The hotel was very clean, modern, and appeared to be brand new. We were extremely impressed with our room! The toilet and shower were conveniently separated, and the shower was exceptionally large and featured a rain showerhead. The room was spacious and included A/C, a large TV, a mini fridge, a table, robes, slippers, and more. We especially enjoyed the high-tech buttons that controlled the lighting and curtains! The location was also great! Yu Garden was just a couple of minutes away on foot, with plenty of shopping and dining options right outside the hotel. For added convenience, there was a FamilyMart next to the entrance and a 7-Eleven across the street. We would definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends!"
