"The location is unique and wonderful outdoor areas with fire pits and games. Sauna and hot tub were huge bonus! My cottage was great, but ouch prices are so high in Seward on 4th of July. You can update your listing to include fully what is provided. You have a very special area with cottages, RV park, and helicopter tours. One of my only criticisms is that your parking lot is a great size, but the stumps you use as markers are hard to see from inside your actual vehicle. "

"This place had the perfect cabin feel. Unfortunately we were not alone. There were definitely noisy unwanted roommates in the ceiling, fortunately the roof was nicely sealed from the living area. "The unit was one of a variety of cabins on the property. The layout of the cabin was a bit of a surprise as the listing on Expedia didn’t specifically identify the photos for each cabin. What we missed was a chair or two to sit on other than on the bed, but once seeing the size of the unit, it would be difficult to find room for that. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We prepared a meal there. The deck has a lovely forest view which we enjoyed....

"We enjoyed a lovely short stay at The Sockeye house! We flew in from MN to visit family in Anchorage and everybody took a trip to Seward for a little extra Alaskan getaway. This was a spacious place to stay that accommodated 4 families of varying age ranges and sizes. Great location, beautiful property, everything we needed! And Mary Beth was great to communicate with! The Alaskans said they will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. "
