Nice clean place, very wonderful staff doing the food facilities. My check-in receptionist was not very welcoming. House cleaning Wednesday staff stole my MacBook Pro charger. Yes the hotel has a room safe but forgot to secure all my chargers so they choose to take the Apple charger. The beach is not bad. In the mornings the water comes all the way up to the rocks. The one swimming pool is nice with the center water bar other swimming pool is away from the beach. I think it is a wonderful family friendly place as they have the feeding of the vultures at 11:30am everyday and the monkeys are seen during breakfast time on the rooftops. Water and drinks are best bought at the mini supermarket outside the resort.

I stayed at the Senegambia Beach Hotel while visiting The Gambia to marry my wife, who is Gambian. This hotel became part of a very special chapter in our lives, and we had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Senegambia area with easy access to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the beach. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with tropical gardens, birds, and monkeys that create a unique atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the beachfront setting and the relaxing environment. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality made us feel at home and reflected the warmth that The Gambia is known for. What stood out most was the combination of the beautiful property, convenient location, and genuine customer service. While some areas of the hotel could benefit from updates, it did not take away from our overall experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the Senegambia Beach Hotel to anyone visiting The Gambia, whether for vacation, business, or a special occasion. Thank you to the staff for helping make our wedding trip such a memorable one.

A very enjoyable stay

The hotel is in a bustling tourist area but not as noisy as I feared. Easy to get around. Taxis are cheap. Lots of restaurants and cafes immediately outside. Very good breakfast selection. Helpful staff. Very clean room and clean around the hotel and grounds.

We made reservations for 2 rooms to be next to each other with connecting door as we were with 4 children and told them ahead of time but when we arrived they could not open connecting door until next day which was upsetting. Rooms are outdated. Property is beautiful and in very lively part of town. You can walk to restaurants and clubs.

It was an amazing hotel. Staff was courteous and friendly. My only suggestion is that with the housekeeping staff as many tourists come to the hotel they may or may not need a housekeeper to iron some shirts at a moment's notice therefore more people need to be hired so that the housekeeping can have attendants offering a 24/7 service
