But I needed to pay for the meals in cash in local currency, unless I could work out how to use the local mobile phone payment app, which I could not. I loved the direct access to the beach. But I needed to be careful during high tide, as the current could bring me to the rocks. The tide could completely swallow the beach and many rocks became submerged. There was currency exchange at reception with good rates, but it was not always available.
