Excellent hotel in Covilhã, we visit Covilhã every couple of months for medical reasons, there are two hotels that we use, both with pools, depending upon the price at the time. This time it was Donna Marie. Excellent as always, everything works, is clean, and relaxing. The pool area is incredible, a good sized indoor pool, poolside recliners, jacuzzi and shower. The hotel was stunning, a modern mountain vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The pools are spectacular, we had seen a photo of these and that was why we visited. We were not disappointed, cave like steam rooms and saunas, multiple pools. The entire experience was extremely enjoyable and we will go back. I should also mention the bar food was to a very high standard, reasonable prices and large portions.

This hotel was just amazing. From the building itself, to the rooms, to the staff, the pool and especially the food in the restaurant. Definitely the highlight of our motorcycle trip. Safe off-road parking too which was a plus. Previous reviewers complained about the road up to the hotel (absolutely fine - just a normal road) and the wi-fi (worked perfectly plus good 4G signal).
