Great view, lovely friendly staff, large room

Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. The owner was understanding about this and we settled the bill remotely by bank transfer. So, a good and bad...

very pleasant stay breakfast was ok nothing exciting but better than buying outside of hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Palacio da Lousa. Our room was big and spacious , the breakfast was comprehensive and catered for all tastes, there is good free parking at the back of the hotel and we had an excellent evening meal one night.

Lovely hotel located near the top for the mountain. Clean and safe hotel with parking. There is also a pool table and a sitting area to chill. Breakfast was included.

Breakfast for one could easily feed 4 the young lady on the desk was so helpful and explained all of the places to visit easy parking out front and apartment was spotless

The Hotel was stunning and in a wonderful setting. The morning mist was breathtaking. it was very tastefully furnished throughout and rooms were big and comfortable. It had a quiet calm atmosphere - one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and well recommended. Such a beautiful building. All the light fittings were unique a wonderful stay.

Room was clean and spacious. Amenities were excellent. Being a Tesla Supercharger location helped a lot in booking this reservation. Also breakfast was quite good with local quality products.

All staff were amazing from our check in to bar service to dinner service. I had a massage which I would highly rate. Otavio and Bruno really stood out for us and went the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room and lots of lovely hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there again.

Great friendly owner who contacted me before arrival to make sure there would be no delays on arrival even if I arrived outside reception times. The property is very clean with everything you need for a short or long stay. I would highly recommend this Guest House.

What a great stay...we only booked for one night but upon arrival we were so amazed that we asked right away if we could stay another night and so we cancelled the other hotel and changed our plans completely. The landlord was also such an amazing host. We could park our car in front of the hotel and we enjoyed an amazing breakfast next to the hotel. Perfect location with a perfect host and perfect stay. All in all, we are coming back

Great location for visiting Coimbra. The staff were really helpful and the bonus of free parking was great for us. We enjoyed lovely views of the city while having a drink on the terrace.

Easy check in. Room was spacious, very clean and neat. Comfortable bed and powerful shower. Breakfast had a good selection of different foods and drinks.
