Beautiful property, great breakfast. Our stay was spoilt be being asked by the owner to check out two hours earlier than advertised, ie at 10am, so beware if you are checking out on Sunday. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. The owner was understanding about this and we settled the bill remotely by bank transfer. So, a good and bad experience, hence three stars.

Nos sentimos em casa de parentes próximos!

Sensacional! Dona Laura nos recebeu como se fosse uma tia muito querida. A casa é muito bem cuidada e cheia de lugares aconchegantes para ficar. Quarto e banheiro ótimos e com decoração rústica. Café da manhã excelente, no nosso caso foi servido na sala de jantar da família pois haviam poucos hóspedes, sensação de estar em um palácio! Adoramos a estadia e o carinho, Dona Laura nos deu dicas ótimas sobre destinos próximos, e que adoramos conhecer. Esperamos voltar em breve!

Historic Home in tranquil village

Beautifully restored villa on the edge of town with rural views. Great pool and garden to relax in after a days travel. Huge ground floor rooms. No evening meals served at the moment so you will need to plan dinning options which will generally involve a drive to a larger town.

Hotel limpo, excelente staff e muito cómodo.

Atendimento espectacular por parte dos proprietários e restantes funcionários. Muita simpatia e simplicidade e muito comunicativos. Local muito calmo mas próximo da estrada principal que dá acesso à Serra da Estrela. Higiéne do quarto imaculada. Muito espaçoso e ideal para ir com crianças. A sala de estar comum muito rustica e confortável. Sala onde é servido o pequeno almoço com decoração típica e muito rica.

In de buurt van de Serra da Estrella

Na wat problemen te hebben ondervonden om het hotel te vinden (navigatie wijst goed de weg, maar het hotel is aan de buitenkant nauwelijks als zodanig herkenbaar), hebben wij een bijzonder prettig verblijf gehad in dit(persoonlijke, kleinschalige) hotel. Het is een zeer bijzonder, zeer karakteristiek hotel. Het doet gedeeltelijk aan als een museum maar de kamers zijn van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Het zwembad is heerlijk, de tuin is prachtig en de eigenaresse bijzonder vriendelijk. Ze spreekt goed Engels en is een prima gastvrouw. Bovendien maakt ze heerlijke limonade van vers geplukte citroenen uit eigen tuin. Wij hebben hier enkele bijzonder fijne dagen doorgebracht.

sehr nette leute, die gerne ausflugtipps geben, toller garten, zimmer mit gartenzugang, zimmer sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gutes und preiswertes essen, gut geeignet für ausflüge zum naturpark serra de estrela mit dem höchsten berg portugals

Un très bon choix

Beau domaine rural entretenu avec beaucoup de goût et de soins par les propriétaires. L' accueil y est convivial, la tranquillité et le repos assurés. Chambres très propres, spacieuses et agréablement meublées, disposant d'un accès direct et indépendant sur le jardin et la piscine. Petit-déjeuner correct. Stationnement gratuit des véhicules à l'extérieur, peu pratique, places limitées en nombre.
