"Shabby (but not chic), poorly maintained. Dirty, loose carpet on the stairs. Paper peeling from ceiling in sitting room and bedroom. Dripping basin waste in bathroom and mould in shower. No hot water one morning, cleaners sent to inspect and declared it working which it wasn’t. Plumber arrived in the evening to fix. Bed hard and uncomfortable but not as hard and lumpy as the pillows. "The apartment is lovely and in a great location! The management company answers emails quickly. The space was very easy to sleep our group of 6. The one thing I will say is that there isn’t a living room or gathering space for our whole group to hang out together in the home, but if you’re there mostly for getting to know York then it’s not a problem!"
