"This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. "

"We had a nice stay at Lion cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. There is not much in the village itself, but it is a 10 min drive to the beach and 4 min drive to a lovely farm shop. The reason I give it 3 star instead of 4/5 is because I think the check out process is a little unreasonbale. Due to covid, the check out time is 9am. Guests are expected to strip all beds of linens, ensure all dishes are washed and rubbish removed. I ordinarily wouldn't take issue with this as...

"We were welcomed warmly by Greg who explained what we needed to know and showed to our room. The room is as nice as any room I have stayed in and I’ve stayed at the Mandarin Oriental!! The bedding was Luxurious and the bed wonderfully comfy. With tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk, I hope I have a reason to return. Absolutely 5 Stars"
