"A most relaxing 3 night break. Excellent breakfast, with flexible times to eat, & very attentive staff. Comfortable, super- clean room & bathroom, & quiet at night. Shame we didn't have a window, but were informed of this a few days before arrival,- skylight only. I'd advise to ask for a window if you want a view!!Very friendly welcoming staff & beautiful decor."

"This was just a stop-over on our way home from Scotland. Our room was clean and had everything we needed (apart from tea bags!) and we ate down in the bar in the evening too. Wow! What a magnificent meal it was. Great food and good prices too. "

"I stayed here as I was walking the Northumberland Coastal route. The hotel is in the heart of the village. Lovely bar and restaurant area and the food is good value for money. The room was spacious with plenty of storage if needed. Lovely large shower with quality toiletries. Breakfast choice is very good and the ingredients were good quality. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommend this. "
