"High on design, but with less thought for function, this Glasgow penthouse apartment is more for show than for living. The host sent detailed but out of date instructions for check in. Clean linens and towels in all rooms on arrival. Our stay was in mid-July and it was hot- we had issues opening some of the windows and drapes/curtains are non-functional in several areas of the living room. The space aspires to sophisticated elegance but feels half-finished. The loft bedroom was an awkward, hot, and inconvenient annex to banish our most daring guests to at the end of the day. The trek down the high, shallow stairs to the bathroom should not be undertaken by those with a fear of heights (the glass railings offer little reassurance). Speaking of the bathroom: I hope you’re feeling limber and can step over the considerable distance between the floor and tub wall and that you enjoy baths- there’s little hope for a reasonable shower in the main bathroom with the curtain line hanging inches from your nose. If you’re taller than 6 feet, be prepared to hit your head on the waterfall shower and see over the curtain line, spraying water willy-nilly over the floors. Reach awkwardly behind you while using the loo for toilet paper, and keep your toiletries out of reach in the cabinet rather than the tiny countertops. In short, this space could use some in-person attention from the property managers, and they should consider what is needed to live in a space more than what looks good."

"This was a different kind of hotel stay for us, but overall, it was a very positive experience. The rooms are small, but functional and comfortable. Having laundry facilities available was fabulous, although I did miss having an iron in the room. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, but the reception staff more than made up for this and were always happy to make sure we had everything we needed. You simply can’t beat the location. We felt like we were within easy walking distance of just about everything, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Staff were largely helpful when we had questions about local amenities. We especially want to recognize Patrick, whose customer service was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond and is an amazing ambassador for the organization. His warmth, helpfulness, and genuine care really stood out and made our stay that much better."

"Great good value breakfast. We didn't visit the bar, but loved the room and shower. Good space and storage. Unfortunately there were several cars parked in the dedicated disabled spaces without blue badges. I don't see the point offering blue badge parking if disabled people then suffer the inconvenience, pain and dismay of realising there is nowhere to go. This will influence my decision whether to stay there or not. I asked about this in advance and was advised the hotel cannot book spaces,so other disabled guests might already park there. But the people who parked there didn't need to park there. What a waste. Please be honest with guests."

"Great location just a block off the pedestrian only city centre walking areas. Really good for parking too - underground lot entered into from behind the hotel just be ready for those wicked switchbacks going from floor to floor. Rooms good, bar area very nice, strong breakfast with haggis and potato scones available and good."

"Everything was fine and the property is spacious and nice. Everything was clean and presentable. There was sufficient cutlery and utensils. Getting in was no problem at all. There was always hot water when we needed it. Plenty of space for storage. Two railway stations within walking distance and a bus stop outside. Shops, pubs and take aways all within a few minutes walk."
