The bathroom though dated was clean, however would have liked to have had the small bottles of shower gel / hair shampoo that was advertised in the room description, instead had 3 small pieces of wrapped soap but we went to the local shop and bought what we needed . The breakfast was really tasty however it would have been more perfect if it was warm. Cold egg and bacon on Saturday morning, it was still tasty so didn’t ruin it. We really enjoyed the entertainment in the lounge though was confusing when each time we bought the same drink the price varied by a couple of pounds at a time. The male staff were really nice however the female blonde receptionist could have smiled at least once, felt like it was a chore giving us the directions of where to park. I know she would have had to tell everyone that walks through the door which can I appreciate be tedious, however if you’re in customer service you need to at least pretend you want to be there. It's run down, dirty, curtains hanging off, dirty carpets, dirty bedding... Decor of bedroom was different colours, looked like been a leak in room and ceiling repaired badly.... Was no heating in room and smelled of tobacco smoke, holes in walls. We got there and immediately wanted to leave however the hotel would not refund the room, we even complained to hotels.com who also did nothing about it. This hotel and experience was shocking to say the least!
