"Stayed here a few times, sometimes in the self catered apartment & sometimes in the hotel (all part of the same building) & it’s always great. The rooms are always clean, there’s a small bar with an honesty box and Jonathan & his team are very friendly and always make you feel welcome.
It’s a 10 minute walk down to the town (15 - 20 minutes to the harbour) so it’s quiet in the evening but for those not wanting to walk there’s a reasonable amount of parking in the town which will save the walk up hill coming back (or take the funicular to save the climb).
Free parking outside is always a bonus but, saving the two best bits until last, the views over the town and harbour from the green across the road are incredible and the freshly cooked breakfast is fabulous, you’d have to go a long way to get better."
