"Stopped for just one night, check in was okay. We had a room on the 3rd floor, the lift only goes as far as the 2nd, so worth noting if you struggle with stairs. Our room was at the rear of the property, so the 'view" was of the poorly maintained properties sof which sadly there are plenty in Scarborough so not fantastic. Room was sufficient for one night, bathroom was modern with a walk in rain shower. Breakfast had plenty of choices of fruit, cereal and pastries. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was from a hot counter, freshly cooked would have been so much nicer."

"Hotel is victorian and has a lot of character, some parts need a little updating. However staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was good. Room was spacious and clean, we had a great night's sleep but didn't opt for breakfast."

"I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again."
