Siesta Key Sunset Family Rentals is family-owned and proud to offer our beach-front Siesta Key (Sarasota) vacation rentals. As a family business, we take great personal pride in ensuring that our condos meet your standards of quality and cleanliness, and we are but a phone call away if you aren't satisfied with anything.

Siesta Key has 3 main beaches: Siesta Beach (white powdery sand), Turtle Beach (quieter area/less people/traffic, a great shelling beach) and Crescent Beach (snorkeling/fishing area).

Siesta Key Sunset Family Rentals are located at the Fisherman’s Cove Condominium directly next to Turtle Beach on the southern end of Siesta Key, right next to Casey Key. It is not crowded and more of an Old Florida environment.
All units are direct Gulf Front property no more than a 15 feet walk to and facing the Beach from the lanai to enjoy Siesta Key’s beautiful sunsets, thus our name. We have three ground floor units for easy walk out to the beach and one 3rd floor with elevator for those who prefer an upper view. You will fall asleep each night to the sound of the waves.

On the other side is the parking and Fisherman’s Cove Lagoon with boat docks for those who bring their own boats, (boat trailers are not allowed on premises but we can find you off lot parking) fishing piers, fish cleaning station, BBQ grills. You are literally surrounded by water! Fisherman’s Cove Lagoon leads out to Roberts Bay and the Intercostal waterway.

Although it is a 10-minute walk to local grills and fine restaurants, this area is quieter and less congested than Siesta Beach and Siesta Village which is only 4 miles away. For those who don’t want to drive, they can take the free Siesta Key Breeze Trolly around the island. For details see:

Each unit is tastefully furnished and fully equipped with all your kitchen appliances and utensils needs. There is a washer dryer in each unit along with fast wireless internet and cable tv.

For outdoor activities each unit has beach chairs, towels, children’s play toys, an umbrella, in addition to limited fishing gear. Shared with 3 other units on a first come first available basis is a canoe, several Kayaks and Paddleboards. Upon request we also have available a pack-n-play and highchair. You do not have to bring anything but your vacation attitude.

Fisherman's Cove Condominium provides a library, meeting room, shuffleboard court and heated pool.

All units are two bedrooms (king bed in master, 2 twins in 2nd bedroom. , 2-bath, and Sleeper Couch.

Guests are responsible for obtaining vacation Insurance at their own discretion.
We only give refunds if the condominium is not suitable for occupancy, i.e., no water or electricity for an extended period. If an event occurs while guest has arrived, then the refund will be prorated per night.
We do not give refunds for medical issues, inclement weather, hurricanes, or red tide. Again, we advise getting vacation insurance.

Enjoyed Very Much. Highly recommend!
I came down with my daughter and three little granddaughters. I communicate with the owner a few times before the trip, and they were very quick at replying back. They were the only owners in this complex that worked with us so we could stay from Monday to Monday. We stayed in unit B102. The unit was clean and had everything we needed and more. The girls loved the beach toys and my daughter, and I enjoyed the beach chairs. The first day we saw dolphins in the ocean out the back door and manatees in the bay out the front door, one morning we were at the beach and a manatee swam right by us. We also enjoyed the kayaks, we took 3 of them out through the mangrove trees and stopped at the beach and saw a biologist with some baby sea turtles, it was a great experience for my granddaughters who are home schooled. We enjoyed our trip tremendously and will be back. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Beautiful Property on the water
This two bedroom, two bath condo was beautiful, right on the beach. It is very well maintained. Check in and out were very well communicated and simple to follow. The Davenports are great hosts. The property was a couple miles out of Siesta Key Village, but the free trolley was accessible all day and evening, and would pick you up at marked locations, or hailed anywhere from Turtle Beach back up to the Village on Midnight Pass Road. Fabulous option! Turtle Beach is a not as packed as the main beach in Siesta Key, but this was fabulous for us as we felt we could get away from the hustle and bustle here, but the main beach and Village were only a trolley ride away. Two good local dining options are walk-able from the condo. We had a lovely time here.

Unfortunately I did not stay at the condo as I was hospitalized but my husband did for 2 days so this feedback is from him. This was our last stay of what was supposed to be a month in Florida. My husband said I would have liked this condo best out of the 3 we stayed in with the quiet beach so close by. Condo was clean and well stocked. Owners and prop manager were very easy to deal with and helpful. The only possible negative was the pool area looked very small to him but it was not crowded.. Hopefully we can come back under better circumstances!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed, the view and sunsets were spectacular, and the location was great for all Sarasota restaurants and sights. We would definitely come back! The hosts were extremely helpful and responded quickly when we had a question.

Nice but not great
Door would not lock. Tried to contact owner about where to put trash, didn’t hear back. Extremely narrow beach in front of home. Stains on carpeting and bedding. We purchased our own cleaning products when we did not find any in condo. Lanai had beautiful view but older table and chairs and windows needed cleaned. Back bedroom mattresses were hard. Clearly older condo. Could use updating. Price comparison condo was 1.5 times higher in price than surrounding condos of comparable nature. In a quiet area. Near many things. Stores/restaurants/cultural. Had elevator. Carts available to help transfer items from car to condo. Fishing/kayak/life jacket/paddle boards/fish cleaning station/outdoor grills/boat dock on bayside/1 designated parking space. Pool on small to medium size/shuffle board beachside. TV’s in each room.

Decent lodging in a great location
This is our 4th time to stay at fishermans cove but the first time in this unit. The view is outstanding, the beds were comfortable and towels and linens were clean. The biggest disappointment to us was that the condo had not been cleaned properly before we arrived. The carpet had dirty stains, the mattress pad cover on the one of the beds had a stain, there was paint peeling off the wall on several locations, and there were drywall patches that needed painting. One cleaning issue with the bathroom tile was taken care of by the owner very quickly. Secondly, the amount of supplies was not as listed. We were missing kitchen dishclothes, disinfecting wipes, and paper towels. This is important since the supplies as listed are really minimal from our experience. All in all, this place needs some TLC. We know everyone is trying to make the most profit they can, but there is also the value of a return customer to consider and much cleaner and well tended units at fishermans cove.
