Guess the older folks need a brighter environment.. haa We enjoyed the breakfast despite staying for 8 days. However the restaurant speaks otherwise. We weren’t impressed with the menu. Although the resort is abit far from the city but there’s a shuttle provided. The only drawback is the distance of the hotel from city , is approx. 30 mins drive away at least. The hotel provide shuttle bus service, twice a day ( one leaving hotel at 10.30 am , pick up at 6.45 pm from City & 9.45 pm ) would suggest the hotel to increase one more trip to pick up from city say at 3.30 pm , so guest who who wish to come back to hotel for rest after the afternoon , don't have to wait till 6.45 pm for the pick up . It’s so lovely and peaceful and feels like you are really in the countryside when in fact you are only 10km from the city. The 2 bedroom rice barn I booked was fantastic and décor inside was very high end, including the roll top bath in the larger section of the barn. Dinner and breakfast were served up on a terrace overlooking the gardens and river, the food & service was good. The pool area and gardens were always pristine and reception staff very helpful as and when required. Friendly staff and great cocktails which we could drink by the pool overlooking the ping river.
