This was a basic, no frills hotel. We chose to stay based on its location to the city. Staff was very friendly, small garden area was nice. This was a clean, quiet and safe location. They closed the outer gates and night and kept our car safe.
I needed to do a late check-in given the time my flight arrived from Madrid, Spain, and all the time it took to get through Customs here in the DR. I called the hotel the night before my flight and spoke with the manager - Patrick about this situation. When I arrived he couldn't have been sweeter - helping me get my heavy suitcase to the room and getting me set up there. There was an issue with the room that I was put into and he made sure that I was given a much better room for the rest of my stay. They do have a small workout room there and an office for anyone to use as well as free coffee and drinkable water all which I appreciated. For the money it is a great deal really - and close to anything that one would need during one's stay -within walking distance.
I was charged for 3 rooms for one night and when the people arrived at the hotel by 11:00 PM, the receptionist tell them that they didn't not have any reservation on file ..... which were more than surprising..
Very tired and disappointed, they didn't have no choice than to leave and look for another hotel to spend the night.
Nice hotel, on a quiet side street. Breakfast included but limited hours, 7:45 to 9 am, though there's a nice restaurant and bakery 2 blocks away. Staff all very nice, with a nice garden area to sit and relax in.
Bien. El hotel es pequeño. Está a 5 minutos del malecón y 25 minutos aproximadamente de la zona colonial. El desayuno y la habítacion es de acuerdo al precio.
