This is a Gem of a hotel, set in a suburb of Dublin just 10 minutes walk from the tram straight into Dublin for €5!! Lots of independent shops and restaurants cafes and bars nearby. A Great Find away from the over priced hotels in the city centre
As advertised, the rooms are really small but quite comfortable.
Staff is nice and helpful.
The downstairs and the rooftop bar are both great and offer foods and drinks.
Pretty boutique hotel with small rooms, clean with an incredible a very popular rooftop. Staff its friendly. The neighboorhood its in a hipster, safe and nice area, away from the crowds of city center. Lots of pubs and dinning options around and 5 to10min walkable distance to take the bus or train to move around the city.
Stayed before and eager to return. Rooms are not the largest but quirky and comfortable. Location is great and the restaurant and bar at the hotel are fab. Previous stay we got street view only downside this time is we got a view of the plant (vents etc) but was ok
Stylist, well designed, boutique hotel in Ranelagh. A lot of thought was put into the design and layout. Rooftop restaurant was a treat. Really enjoyed my stay and will revisit.
very nice and decent price. wish there was more storage/organization, but it was also the smallest room so its understandable. staff super friendly, great area
Room 119 just fine but open window fresh air came with a constant hum from nearby air con piping on outside of building which we managed to sleep through. Plug hole on sink needed a clearing in order to drain which is just one of those things. Otherwise absolutely fine. Bed comfy and hotel in perfect location for us
The Devlin was lovely and staff as well. The area has many restaurants. The room was small and no hanging space for clothes. Difficult if there were two people. But the bed was big and comfortable

Nice place
I was happy with my stay here. It's not too far away from downtown if you take the Luas or the bus (get a visitor leap card!). The room was very small, but it felt comfortable anyway. Some noise from adjacent rooms but nothing terrible. The only thing lacking was storage space, but I made it work. Funnily, I think the bathroom/shower here was actually bigger and nicer than in the significantly larger hotel room I stayed in elsewhere on the next leg of my trip. Staff was also friendly and helpful when I interacted with them.
I booked the property based on economics and the look and description of it online. It was my first introduction to Dublin having flown in and instructions from staff about taking the Dublin Express. Honestly I loved everything about the property itself and I took a long walk in the neighborhood and saw it was actually a very prestigious part of Dublin based on the beautiful homes I walked past.
But what I especially will remember was the light dinner I had in the lounge and breakfast the next morning.. I would definitely return to Ranlaugh over downtown Dublin. Thank you.
The location is fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing at both restaurants. I arrived quite late my first night in Dublin. Although the kitchen was closed at Layla’s, they went out of their way to make the most amazing margarita pizza.
The hotel staff were great - very friendly and helpful. The level of service was excellent.
The room was really clean and comfortable, and the appliances (Dyson hairdryer etc) were great spec. Everything had been thought out with guests in mind and it made the stay really enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
Had a very nice stay at The Devlin for the Rammstein concert, June 2024. The room was small enough, but still plenty to move around and everything was very comfortable. USB wall chargers, amenities tucked away in an under-bed drawer, overall an excellent stay and would happily stay again.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful, though the bar was under-staffed for the weekend, with only 1 person working there.
Parking was a bit of a problem, but we figured it out. This is a cute, trendy hotel with a movie theatre in the basement. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom really nice. There are a lot of dining options within walking distance. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
Fair place but expensive for what you get
Unmanned reception during check in times.
Very small rooms.
Huge mini bar stock, it even makes the room feel crowded with things.
Nice food at the restaurant.
Cozy rooms.
